Album: A day with Caixia
i spent two nights and a day with a woman driver i met last november in her home in the outer suburbs of beijing. it was a mellow day of rest for the cabbie in between her exhausting 15 hour days driving. she picked me up at the end of her shift at 11pm on her way home. i slept in her place and spent the whole day with her and her family. hung out with her 5 yr old girl, such a lively little girl, full of life. i woke up with them, took the girl to kindergarten together with caixia, she made dumplings, we napped, and picked up the girl in the afternoon.
